Refill an Existing MetroCard

On Sunday January 4, 2026, new fares took hold.  The MTA eliminated the bonus and thus the calculator below allows you to figure out the amount to pay to have no spare money left on your card.

What this calculator does: It tells you the amount of money you need to pay to get a balance of zero on the card once the fares are used up.
